Control user access to different parts of your inventory system with customizable permissions and warehouse assignments.
Create a User
Add New User:
- Visit the user management module
- Tap the plus icon (bottom right)
- Enter user information (name, email, password required)
- Set chart type for main screen display
- Choose home screen buttons for the user
- Select assigned warehouses under Permissions
- Tap Add User
User Setup Options
Required Information: Name, email address, and password
Optional Settings:
- Phone number
- Dashboard chart preference
- Custom home screen button selection
- Email notification preferences
If no warehouses are assigned, the user gets access to all locations by default. Enable "Send email notification" to automatically send login credentials and app instructions.
Edit or Delete a User
Modify User Accounts:
- Visit the user management module
- Swipe left on the user's row
- Tap Edit or Delete icon
Delete vs Deactivating Users
Deactivating users is recommended over deletion for audit trail and data integrity purposes.
When to Deactivate
- Employee leaves temporarily
- Seasonal workers
- Maintaining transaction history
- Compliance requirements
When to Delete
- Test accounts that are no longer needed
- Duplicate accounts created by mistake
- Accounts that never processed transactions
Deleting users removes their transaction history associations. Use deactivation to preserve audit trails.
User Permissions
Warehouse Access
Control which locations users can access for inventory operations.
Product Management
- Manage Products: Full product editing capabilities
- View Products (read-only): View products without editing (prices hidden)
- Delete Products: Remove products from system
- Create Products: Add new products to inventory
Inventory Operations
- Update Stock: Add/remove inventory quantities
- Move Stock: Transfer items between warehouses
- Access Stock History: View transaction records
- Reset Stock: Clear inventory levels
System Management
- Access Reports: View business analytics and reports
- Manage Warehouses: Create and edit locations
- Manage Categories: Organize product classifications
- Manage Users: Add/edit other user accounts
- Manage Suppliers: Handle supplier information

Order Processing
- Manage Sales Orders: Process customer orders

Price Visibility
- Hide Selling Prices: Conceal retail prices from user

Common Permission Sets:
- Warehouse Worker: Update Stock, Move Stock, View Products (read-only)
- Sales Staff: Manage Sales Orders, Access Reports, Hide Purchase Prices
- Manager: Most permissions enabled, specific warehouse access
- Administrator: All permissions, all warehouse access
